The Mother Theresa Charitable Hospital Trust (MTCHT) was registered as a ‘Trust’ on 1st April 2010 under the Indian Trust Act; under which, the Hospital was established to address the acute and chronic illness of the poor living in both the rural and urban areas of Kalaburagi district. The Mother Theresa Charitable Hospital Trust is a non-profit, non-Governmental, secular, Organization, which was established to provide holistic health. It has expanded its wings in providing integrated health, care based treatment and Community Based Services through various programs for the empowerment of the downtrodden, neglected destitute in and around Kalaburagi District.
Simultaneously it is also working for the eradication of all kinds of sickness through health awareness programs in the remote and backward villages. It runs on no profit basis, making health facilities available and affordable to all the poor people. This would help the poor sick people of Bidar, Vijayapura, Yadgir and Kalaburagi to have access to the medical facilities in an affordable way. It has the Board of Trustees headed by Dr. Robert Miranda and Dr. Anil William Crasta as the Director. Regular Board of Trustees meetings are held to realize the vision and mission of the Organization.
