CBID – Community-Based Inclusive Development
CBID is MTCH’s inclusive development program supported by SCN Sisters, designed to promote participation, dignity, and independence of persons with disabilities within their families and communities. The program strengthens community support systems and improves access to mobility aids, therapeutic services, home-based care, and functional independence training.
CBID also promotes social inclusion, livelihood support, peer groups, and linkages to government schemes. Families receive guidance, counseling, and practical assistance to care for and empower individuals with disabilities.
By integrating disability support into everyday community life, CBID builds inclusive villages where every person is valued and supported. Presently, the program supports 300 disabled girl children of nearby 80 villages and wards of Kalaburagi and Kamalapur taluqs with social security schemes, aids and appliances and inclusion through Disabled Children Groups.
