Skill-Building & Day Support Centre for Rehabilitated Persons with Mental Illness (PwMIs)
Supported by the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka
Manasadhara is MTCH’s specialized day care centre for rehabilitated persons with mental illness and their caregivers. The program provides a safe, and structured, environment where participants can learn skills that enhance sustenance and live life of dignity with independence.
Key activities include tailoring, basic computer literacy, candle making, paper bag production, crafts, and other livelihood-oriented skills. The centre also provides psychosocial support, daily routine management, recreational activities, and confidence-building exercises.
So far we have served 20 PwMIs through occupational therapy and skill courses.
