The Director of Mother Theresa Charitable Hospital Trust, Kalaburagi, Fr Dr Anil Crasta, participated in the two-day national programme, “Dialogue for Harmony,” organized by Azim Premji University and Azim Premji Foundation at Bengaluru on June 5–6, 2026. The programme brought together Health Professions, religious leaders, social workers, academicians, and representatives of various organizations from across the country to engage in meaningful dialogue on promoting harmony, mutual understanding, and service in society.
As a guest speaker, Fr Crasta had the privilege of addressing a session on “Sewa in Everyday Life.” During the session, he shared the inspiring journey and service initiatives of Mother Theresa Charitable Hospital Trust, Kalaburagi, particularly its commitment to providing affordable and compassionate healthcare to the poor and marginalized sections of society. Highlighting the Trust’s mission of serving humanity with dignity and care, he emphasized that true sewa is reflected in selfless service to those in need, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, or social background.
The presentation was well received by the participants and generated meaningful discussions on the role of healthcare institutions in fostering social harmony and human dignity.
