
Mother Theresa Charitable Hospital (MTCH), Kalaburagi, enthusiastically celebrated International Yoga Day on 21 June 2026 with the active participation of doctors, nurses, administrative staff, and support personnel. The programme began with a brief introduction highlighting the importance of yoga in promoting physical health, mental well-being, and a balanced lifestyle. Participants performed various yoga asanas and breathing exercises under the guidance of trained instructors.
The Director of the Hospital, Fr Dr Anil Crasta appreciated the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the sustained efforts of the Union Government in popularizing yoga as a global movement for health, harmony, and holistic well-being.
